Hi,I'm Tory!
I get it—being a new parent comes with a whole world of feelings, from joy to stress. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. I'm here to offer you balance, comfort, and the support you deserve.
My Journey to Becoming a Birth Worker:
"I was drawn to becoming a birth doula and newborn care specialist because I saw firsthand the difference that informed, loving support can make. Having gone through birth myself four times and seeing how instrumental knowledge, support and rest was, I realized that a little help goes a long way during this tender phase."
Experience and Credentials:
"I bring a half a decade of heartfelt service to my role as your birth doula, newborn care specialist and over 21 years as a childcare provider. I am certified in hypnobaby education (Gentle Birth), Birth Doula (DONA International trained) new care specialist and parent coaching (Newborn Care Training Academy) and a certified life coach (The Wisdom Institue of Design IFC). I am currently obtaining my sleep training (QC Wellness) certificate, but I have been successfully sleep training babies of all ages for years with a proven track record. In addition, I have attended over 150 births and postpartum periods. My experience has taught me how to effectively support new families so they can truly enjoy this special chapter."
What Sets Me Apart:
"What sets me apart is my commitment to you. You're not just another client; you're a mom who deserves to feel confident, heard, and cared for. I tailor my support to your unique needs, whether it's helping you with breastfeeding, emotional well-being, or adjusting to a new family dynamic."
What I Believe:
"I don't just focus on baby care; I take a holistic approach that includes nurturing you, the mother. Motherhood is not a solo act—it takes a supportive community, and I aim to be a valuable part of yours."
My Approach to Personalized Support:
"Your story is unique, and so are your needs. Whether you're a first-time mom or adding another bundle of joy to your family, I adapt my support to fit your situation."
Knowledgeable Care:
"I don't just go by the book; I stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in postpartum care. I bring you tried and true methods that work."
Flexibility:
"Life doesn't operate on a 9 to 5 schedule, especially with a new baby. That’s why I offer daytime, nighttime, and even virtual support to fit your routine."
